Bishopton Primary School Donates to Robin House CHAS

At the bequest of the pupils, from the funds raised by our Charity Ball in 2009, the BPPC would make a donation on behalf of the pupils to CHAS, Robin House in Balloch. CHAS  is a Scottish charity that provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
We were fortunate to have Debbie Traynor, from CHAS, come and speak to the children, and tell them the great things that this donation will do for the children & families who are helped by CHAS. This substantial donation will go towards an outdoor activity centre which can be enjoyed by all children irrespective of mobility, & illness, and they can have the opportunity to participate in the fun of the play park with their siblings and family.  Robin House will have an open day on the 17th & 18th March should you wish to see where & how this donation will be spent. Thanks so much to all those that supported us.

Tom Wylie Jewellery has donated £600 to provide the school with a laptop to accompany the Promethean Boards. This was the final laptop required to complete the project. Many thanks to Tom Wylie for his generosity which will benefit the children of Bishopton Primary School, both now and in the future. mailto:tomwyliejewellery@hotmail.com
